Hi! I am Andrea...

I grew up watching my dad shoot our childhood on film.  He was committed to recording the "important moments" like Christmas morning, or family reunions.  But he also had a way of capturing my sister and I with high messy ponies hanging upside down from our old tweed couch.  The pinatas at birthday parties, the campouts, the snuggles, milking cows with Grandpa at their farm in Idaho, twirling on the Oregon coast on our summer trips.  

I loved looking at the photos he'd develop and print- placing them in photo protectors & then in huge binders with stickers labeling the years gone by.  To this day I always find myself flipping through those pages when I visit- curled up on the now leather couch in their family room.  I love that he took the time to not only be present, to witness, but to also document.  Those photos are precious, they hold the power to draw a memory from the pool of dusty childhood & bring it front and center.   I find a lot of memories are attached to photos I've seen again and again.  The power of photography is magic.  It's simple, and oftentimes overthought.  

My goal is to witness and document your love.  Your memories.  You can dress up, match, or just live your normal life.  I want to witness it through my lens and save it for you.  

When I woke up on the same Idaho farm one Christmas morning, I opened my first 35mm camera.  It was a Nikon & came with a few rolls of black and white film.  It was from my dad.  That's when my journey as a documenter began.  In the years after I filled binders with photos of clouds, choir friends, family trips, and film shots from the darkroom in the yearbook. I took pet glamor shots at one point!  Then, eventually photos of my own children- our travels and adventures.  I have thoroughly enjoyed building this business slowly while doing that- and now it's time to move it more front & center and I couldn't be more excited.  It's a privilege to be trusted to witness.
